How To Keep Head Lice Away From Children (And Adults!)

Dealing with head lice can be a frustrating experience for any parent, but prevention might be easier than expected. One effective method is incorporating tea tree oil into your daily routine.

Kim Wright, a mother, shared a helpful tip on Facebook, which is especially useful during the back-to-school season. She suggests adding a few drops of tea tree oil to your children’s shampoo or making a diluted tea tree oil spray for their hair. This simple approach can greatly lower the chances of a lice infestation.

Tea tree oil not only works against lice but also helps to repel mosquitoes. However, despite all efforts, some children may still contract lice. If that happens, there are many effective treatments available to eliminate them.

It’s important to remember that adults can also be affected by lice, so using the tea tree oil spray as a preventive measure for yourself can be beneficial. Lice infestations can be a hassle, but with these simple steps, you can protect your family and keep everyone lice-free.
