Girl Sends Letters to Late Mom Asking to Take Her Away from Aunt, Gets a Reply in Mailbox

An orphaned little girl named Vicki, desperate for love and safety, sought help in the only way she knew—writing letters to her deceased mother. She pleaded for rescue from her cruel aunt Carla, who had taken her in not out of affection, but to claim Vicki’s inheritance.

At her mother’s funeral, Carla impatiently rushed Vicki through the mourning process. She wasn’t grieving her sister; instead, Carla’s heart harbored resentment. Her decision to adopt Vicki was purely self-serving, motivated by a desire to gain control over her late sister’s estate. Upon arriving at her aunt’s mansion, Vicki realized she was not entering a warm home. Her cousin, Anna, a spoiled 12-year-old, barely acknowledged her.

Vicki’s situation worsened when Carla informed her that her beloved dog, Roger, had been sent to an animal shelter. Carla’s claim that Anna was allergic to pets crushed Vicki, leaving her heartbroken. But that was only the beginning of her torment. Carla imposed strict rules, forcing Vicki to do all the household chores and demanding that she show gratitude for the meager care she received.

Carla gave Vicki a small, dingy room and treated her with cold indifference. Nights became unbearable as Vicki lay in bed, crying for her mother and her dog, yearning for the love and comfort she had lost. Her days were filled with endless chores, and she was constantly mistreated by both Carla and Anna. Vicki’s only escape from the harsh reality was her time at school, where she could find a brief moment of peace.

The cruelty reached new heights when Anna, furious at being refused, cut off Vicki’s long hair, which had been a cherished bond between Vicki and her mother. Devastated, Vicki sobbed alone in her room, and in her despair, she decided to write a letter to her late mother in heaven, begging for help. She poured her heart out in the letter, expressing the pain she was going through and her longing for her mother’s love.

Vicki posted the letter, hoping it would somehow reach her mother in heaven. Days passed with no reply, but Vicki didn’t give up. She continued writing and mailing letters, each one a plea for a miracle. Then, unexpectedly, one day, a response arrived.

A letter addressed to Vicki appeared in the mailbox, signed by a mysterious “messenger.” The letter assured Vicki that she was not alone and that help was on the way. The following day, Vicki eagerly waited at the school gate, where she met Larry, the local mailman. Although Larry wasn’t the angelic messenger she had imagined, he had read her letters and decided to intervene.

Larry confronted Carla, threatening to report her to Child Protective Services (CPS) if she continued to mistreat Vicki. Although Carla feigned innocence, Larry knew she couldn’t be trusted. After leaving, Larry followed through on his promise and contacted CPS, ensuring they investigated Carla’s household.

The next day, CPS arrived unexpectedly at Carla’s home. Despite Carla’s attempts to deceive them, Vicki was found locked in a dark cellar, frightened and crying. The officers quickly realized the severity of the situation, and Vicki was taken away to safety.

To her surprise and joy, Vicki was brought to her new foster family, Larry and his wife, Amanda. Upon arriving at their home, Vicki was greeted not only by her new family but also by her beloved dog, Roger, who Larry had rescued from the animal shelter. Overwhelmed with happiness, Vicki embraced her new life, filled with love, warmth, and the family she had longed for.

Larry and Amanda officially adopted Vicki, and she soon became part of their family, living happily with her new siblings, Shaun and Shelly. Despite the hardships she had endured, Vicki’s life turned around, and she finally found the happiness and security she deserved.
