Bonnie Chapman, Daughter of Duane and Beth Chapman Shares Her ‘Commendable’ Weight Loss Transformation – Photos

When Julia and Helga’s father passed away, the aftermath ignited a fierce dispute over the family inheritance. Helga bitterly contested their mother, Mrs. Hanson, over the distribution of the estate. She hurled hurtful words, prompting Julia and Mrs. Hanson to devise a surprising plan to teach her an important lesson.

“HOW DARE YOU?” Helga shouted at her mother over the phone. Julia overheard the entire exchange from the kitchen, even though Mrs. Hanson was speaking in the living room. Helga was furious about her mother’s will, which allocated 30% of the estate to her and the remaining 70% to Julia. While the division wasn’t equal, Mrs. Hanson believed Julia deserved the larger share due to their closer relationship. Helga and her husband had often been distant, reaching out only when they needed something.

Despite their strained relationship, Mrs. Hanson was being generous. Initially, she had considered excluding Helga entirely because of her disrespectful behavior. However, knowing that Helga and her husband had recently welcomed twin babies later in life—Helga was 47 and her husband 51—she decided to include her in the will. Unfortunately, Helga was not satisfied with her portion.

“Helga, please don’t raise your voice,” Mrs. Hanson gently urged during the call, noticing Julia approaching. She decided to put the conversation on speakerphone.

“MOTHER! You can’t just give everything to Julia! She doesn’t even have children. Don’t you care about the twins? They deserve their share of the money!” Helga exclaimed, unaware that Julia was listening in.

“Helga, it’s not about whether Julia has kids. She has devoted much of her life to taking care of your father and me, while you chose a different path. You’re married and have a support system. Moreover, it’s my decision to make,” Mrs. Hanson replied calmly. But this reasoning didn’t appease Helga.

“I DON’T CARE WHAT JULIA HAS DONE! YOU KNOW WHAT? I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO BE GONE, AND I’LL FIGHT FOR MY SHARE! GOODBYE!” Helga yelled before abruptly ending the call.

Mrs. Hanson sighed deeply, her hand resting on her forehead. Julia was shocked by her sister’s harsh words but tried to console her mother. “Mom, she’s just upset. She didn’t mean it,” Julia said softly, though both knew the truth. Helga was determined to claim a larger portion of the inheritance.

In the ensuing months, Helga repeatedly called, attempting to persuade Mrs. Hanson to alter her will. These conversations often escalated into arguments, taking a toll on Mrs. Hanson’s well-being. Julia grew increasingly protective of her mother and frustrated with her sister’s relentless demands.

When Mrs. Hanson eventually passed away, Helga made a dramatic display of grief at the funeral, though many relatives were aware of her true nature. After the services, she began pressuring Julia about the inheritance. Despite having received her designated share, Helga wasn’t satisfied and became increasingly antagonistic toward her sister.

Determined to put an end to the conflict, Julia devised a plan. During a phone call, she proposed an idea to Helga. “Listen, I’m planning to move to New York, so I’m going to sell Mom’s house. Even though the house is in my name, I’ll give you 50% of the sale. Does that seem fair?” she asked.

“Oh, that’s fantastic, Julia! Thank you! I knew you’d come around. You’re the best aunt to the twins. This will help secure their future,” Helga gushed. Julia doubted her sister’s sincerity but moved forward with the plan.

The house sold quickly due to its prime location in the capital, attracting numerous buyers. Helga was elated at the prospect of receiving half of the proceeds. Before leaving for New York, Julia met with Helga. “I’ll deposit your share into a bank account and send you the details soon. Is that okay?” she said.

“Of course! I’m going to miss you so much!” Helga replied with a smile that Julia found disingenuous.

“Take care,” Julia responded, offering an awkward hug before departing. Helga, however, seemed overly enthusiastic, acting as if she would genuinely miss her sister.

A week after relocating, Julia sent Helga the details for accessing a safety deposit box. Helga’s husband found the arrangement odd. “Couldn’t your sister just transfer the money to our account?” he asked.

“She’s always been peculiar. I’ll go to the bank and sort it out,” Helga replied dismissively.

At the bank, Helga eagerly opened the safety deposit box, expecting a substantial sum. Instead, she found three one-dollar bills and a note that read: “This is all you deserve.” Shocked and enraged, Helga’s outburst echoed through the bank’s halls. She tried to contact Julia, only to discover that her sister had blocked her number. From that day forward, they never saw or spoke to each other again.
