Lady Informs Fiancé’s Family She Is Pregnant, ‘He’s Infertile!’ His Mom Says

Chris and Amanda’s love story had always been an uphill battle, one plagued by disapproval from Chris’ wealthy and status-obsessed parents, the Castillos. Their resistance wasn’t subtle—they made no effort to hide their disdain for Amanda, a woman they deemed unworthy of their son simply because she didn’t come from a privileged background. Still, Amanda remained hopeful, believing that time and a little effort would soften their hearts. What she didn’t know was that a storm was brewing, one that would test their relationship like never before.

The evening at the Castillos’ mansion was supposed to be a step toward reconciliation. Amanda, ever the optimist, thought that announcing her pregnancy would be the turning point, the news that finally won over Chris’s parents. Chris, however, knew better. He had been dreading this dinner for days, weighed down by a devastating secret he had yet to share with Amanda—one that could shatter everything they’d built.

As they sat down to dinner, the tension in the air was palpable. Polite conversation felt forced, and Chris’s parents, as usual, maintained their cold demeanor toward Amanda. Then, Amanda, glowing with excitement, dropped the bombshell: “We’re pregnant!”

For a brief moment, the room fell silent. Amanda expected smiles, congratulations, perhaps even tears of joy. Instead, Mrs. Castillo’s face contorted with fury. “He’s infertile!” she screamed, her voice trembling with anger. “You cheated on my son and got yourself pregnant! How dare you try to trap him with this lie?”

Chris froze, unable to speak. Amanda’s face twisted in confusion and heartbreak. “What are you talking about?” she asked, her voice shaking. “Chris and I have been trying for months. This baby is his—how can you say that?”

But Mrs. Castillo wasn’t done. “Get out of this house, you lying trollop!” she spat, grabbing Amanda by the arm and dragging her toward the door. Amanda begged Chris to intervene, but he sat paralyzed, staring at his plate, consumed by the revelation of his supposed infertility—a fact his parents had gleefully revealed to him just days earlier. The heavy door slammed shut, leaving Amanda on the doorstep, tears streaming down her face.

The days that followed were a blur of confusion and despair. Amanda tried to contact Chris, desperate to understand why he hadn’t defended her, why he believed the lies. But Chris was unreachable. He had moved out of their shared apartment, leaving behind a single, heart-wrenching note: “I was concerned and got tested. I’m infertile. Completely. I hope you have a happy life, but it won’t be with me.”

Amanda was devastated but determined. She knew the truth—her baby was Chris’s. With no one to rely on but herself, she decided to move forward. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Paul, who was the spitting image of his father. Every time she looked into his bright blue eyes, she felt a mixture of love and bitterness. “They don’t know what they’re missing,” she whispered one night, gazing at her son. “Let them have their lies. We’ll find our own happiness.”

Meanwhile, Chris tried to move on, his parents encouraging him to leave Amanda in the past. They orchestrated a match with Ciara, the woman they had always wanted for him. Slowly, Chris gave in, letting his parents plan his future. But the nagging doubts about Amanda and her pregnancy never left him.

Fate intervened a year later. Chris and Amanda ran into each other by chance on the street. The encounter was brief but life-changing. Amanda’s phone slipped from her hand during their awkward exchange, and Chris picked it up, only to see a photo of a baby boy with piercing blue eyes as her screensaver. He froze. “Him?” he mumbled.

“Yes, my son,” Amanda replied coldly. “Mine. Alone.” She snatched the phone and walked away, leaving Chris with more questions than answers.

For days, Chris couldn’t shake the image of the child. Doubts gnawed at him. Why did the baby look so much like him? Could the test results have been wrong? Desperate for answers, he pressed his parents for the truth. His persistence paid off when a slip of the tongue from Ciara’s mother revealed the horrifying truth: Chris’s infertility diagnosis had been fabricated. It was all part of a plan to break him and Amanda apart and push him toward Ciara.

Furious, Chris confronted his mother, who eventually admitted the scheme. The betrayal cut deep, but Chris had no time for anger—he needed to make things right.

Chris showed up at Amanda’s apartment, using the spare key he still had. He sat on her bed, overwhelmed with guilt and unsure how to even begin apologizing. When Amanda came home and found him there, her initial reaction was anger. But when Chris tearfully explained everything—the fake test results, the manipulation, the lies—her demeanor softened.

“I’m so sorry,” Chris said, his voice cracking. “I should’ve believed you. I should’ve trusted you. I let my parents’ poison destroy us. But I want to fix it. I’ll do whatever it takes.”

Amanda listened, her arms crossed, her heart torn. “Chris, you broke me,” she said. “You left me when I needed you the most. I don’t know if I can forgive that.”

“I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you,” Chris vowed. “Even if we can’t go back to what we were, I want to be in Paul’s life. Please let me be his father.”

After a long silence, Amanda finally spoke. “First, you meet Paul,” she said, wiping her tears. “Then we’ll see where we go from there. But I’ll tell you this—you have a lot to prove.”

Chris nodded, determined to earn back the trust he had lost. As Amanda introduced him to their son, a glimmer of hope sparked in both their hearts. It wouldn’t be easy, but perhaps, with time, they could rebuild the life they had once dreamed of.
