A 32-year-old actor, Rory Callum Sykes, died in a fire, trapped inside a cottage in Malibu.

Rory Callum Sykes became a famous actor when he was young, even though he had cerebral palsy. He played lead roles in movies and was the host of the British TV show Kiddy Capers. He even learned how to walk after facing many difficulties.

Sharon, Rory’s mother, talked about the terrible event today. In his own home, her son died.

She said that Rory was stuck in a different Malibu cottage when there was a fire. When she tried to put out the fire, she found that the water had been turned off.

Shelley went out to find firefighters herself because she couldn’t get in touch with emergency services. When they got there, they told her that Rory had died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

“The hose wouldn’t work to put out the fire on the roof because there wasn’t any water.” His cottage was completely destroyed by fire when the firefighters brought me back. “Shelly said, “My heart is completely broken.”

Eleven people have died in the California fires. Jennifer Aniston said that another friend of hers died while trying to help other people who were hurt.
