Heartbreaking: Jennifer Garner shares the loss of a friend in California wildfires

Jennifer Garner talked about how sad she is that a close friend died in the recent wildfires in California. A few days before, her father died. In an emotional interview, the 52-year-old actress said, “I lost a friend who didn’t get out in time.” She also talked about having survivor’s guilt and wanting to help so much.

Garner praised Chef José Andrés and World Central Kitchen for how quickly they helped families who had been affected by the fires, which killed 24 people, including child actor Rory Sykes. As she continues to raise awareness and lend her voice to relief efforts, her work makes it clear that people need shelter and help right away during this terrible crisis.
