Alina Habba: Every Trump Appointee Is ‘America First’

Alina Habba, counselor to President Trump, criticized Democrats for their ongoing attempts to obstruct his administration. During an interview on America Reports, she addressed Trump’s first month back in office and outlined his key priorities moving forward.

Habba highlighted the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an initiative designed to cut wasteful government spending. She defended the department’s purpose, arguing that it represents a fiscally responsible approach to governance. In response to criticism from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who labeled the initiative as overreach, Habba insisted that Trump’s actions are both legal and aligned with the interests of American taxpayers.

When questioned about Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s claim that Trump’s spending cuts are harmful to working-class Americans, Habba countered that the administration is acting on the mandate given by voters. She reaffirmed that Trump’s America First agenda prioritizes economic stability and government accountability over excessive spending, despite opposition from Democratic leaders.

Habba also pointed to Democratic efforts to slow down Senate confirmations for key administration positions. She assured, however, that Trump is moving forward with executive actions to maintain momentum. She praised new Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, describing her as a strong voice for the administration as it works to reverse policies from the previous four years.

In closing, Habba emphasized that Trump is committed to delivering on his campaign promises, despite resistance from political opponents. She described the administration’s approach as aggressive but necessary, ensuring that the policies put forth align with the vision supported by the American electorate. With executive actions and legislative proposals already in motion, Habba asserted that Trump’s administration is pressing forward with its objectives at full speed.
