High school talent shows are meant to be fun, lighthearted events where students can show off their abilities, and typically, no one expects anything very special. However, a few students from Granbury High School managed to make their performance so legendary that it still sparks debate today. It was a memorable moment when Ian Fisher, Stephen Behrens, Hieu Tran, and Matt Bersi worked together to perfectly recreate the iconic OK Go music video for “Here It Goes Again” in 2007.
OK Go became well-known for their incredibly inventive music videos, one of which featured the band performing intricate moves on two treadmills. These high school students performed a perfect replica because they were so moved by it, and their performance went viral. Talk about dedication and accuracy! How they were able to perform such a difficult dance without missing a beat is truly incredible!
As one commenter put it, “Even after eighteen years, this video is still relevant.” I hope these legendary individuals are enjoying themselves immensely. Another person said, “I have never been so proud of a group of people I have never met.” According to a third, “I rewatch this video every few years to enjoy the early 2000s quality, the raw performance, the coordination, and most importantly, the friendship it represents.” I hope these men continue to communicate and stay near each other.
