The Young and Restless star dead at 66 years of age

Renowned actress Andrea Evans, celebrated for her prominent roles in daytime dramas, has passed away at 66 due to cancer. Both her past and present managers expressed their grief over her loss. Nick Leicht said, “She was an incredible joy to work with and such a fantastic talent.”

Evans is best remembered for her roles as Patty Williams on “The Young and the Restless” and Tina Lord on “One Life to Live”. She earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1988 for her portrayal of Tina. Outside daytime drama, her roles spanned various TV shows and movies. In 2015, she secured another Emmy nomination for the web series “DeVanity”.

In 2008, Evans revealed a frightening stalker incident which led her to take a break from the public eye. She remarked, “It changed me forever.” Nevertheless, she returned to her role as Tina on “One Life to Live” that same year.

One Life to Live’s executive producer Frank Valentini tweeted, “I am so sorry to hear of Andrea Evans’ passing… A true daytime legend.” Evans is survived by her husband Stephen Rodriguez and their daughter Kylie.
