Donald Trump cut speech short amid medical e

A medical emergency during a White House press conference forced President Donald Trump to shorten his speech.

Trump was then swearing in Dr. Memhet Oz, a television personality who would be the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator under Trump.

According to the Irish Star, a girl passed out during the ceremony, so Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt ended the briefing and asked the reporters to leave the room.

Leavitt could be heard saying, “Press out.”
President Trump interrupted his speech and stepped away from the podium to help when he realized something serious was happening. He was overheard saying, “I hope she’s okay.”

Dr. Oz was seen running off-camera to offer assistance.

The young girl was seen on camera being hurriedly led from the room.
A “minor family member” fainted during the ceremony, the White House later confirmed, but they were now okay. “A minor family member fainted during Dr. Oz’s swearing-in ceremony in the Oval Office,” the statement said. We are glad to hear that she is doing well.

Trump claimed to have “arrived at this position as one of the nation’s most talented and beloved medical professionals” when he introduced Dr. Oz.

The president went on to read Dr. Oz’s credentials, noting that he was a Harvard University graduate. He graduated from Penn’s Wharton School with a Master of Business Administration and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine.

Following that, Dr. Oz served as the director of the Cardiovascular Institute and integrative medicine program at New York Presbyterian Hospital, as well as a cardiac surgeon and professor at Columbia University.

In 2009, he launched The Dr. Oz Show, a talk show about health and wellness. 2022 was the end of it.

Some of the contentious medical advice Dr. Oz gave the audience during the years his show was broadcast drew criticism.

Among the others, the Federal Trade Commission denounced his claim that green coffee extract is a “magic weight loss cure.”

Earlier this month, the Senate voted 53-45 to confirm Dr. Oz’s appointment to CMS.
