13 Years Ago They Were Called The Worlds Most Beautiful Twins, Now Look At Them

For their seventh birthday in 2017, Leah Rose and Ava Marie Clements made an Instagram account that instantly gained a ton of followers who were in awe of their stunning beauty.

The 14-year-old California twins, who are often referred to as the “most beautiful twins in the world,” are well-known child models worldwide, and their captivating backstory matches their stunning appearance.

The decision to share images of her identical twin daughters, Leah and Ava, on social media was made by Jaqi Clements in 2017. At first, the posts served only as a means of informing friends and family about their lives. However, the account gained popularity as soon as the internet noticed their exceptional beauty.

People were drawn to their charm and inherent beauty, and soon after, brands and modeling agencies began contacting them. What started out as a straightforward Instagram page evolved into a potent tool that would completely change their lives.

The mother of three writes in a blog post, “Before creating an account for the girls, I hadn’t used Instagram much.” Six months ago, I would have been asked if 300,000 followers was a lot. I would not have known.

The twins are now well-known child models, with nearly 3 million Instagram and Facebook followers and prominent endorsement deals with companies like Nike, Disney, and Target.

The Clements family was heavily criticized by those who questioned the parents’ choice to let Leah and Ava pursue modeling at such a young age, despite the glamour.

Jaqi adamantly defended her decision, stating that the twins’ dream of modeling was theirs and not something that was forced upon them. She made it clear that neither she nor her husband, Kevin, were making money off of their daughters; rather, they were giving up their own money to help the girls pursue their passions.

“I didn’t decide that my girls were going to start modeling, they did,” writes Jaqi in response to the attacks. And I will wholeheartedly support their choice to pursue something else if the time ever comes.

The Lifeline
In October 2019, the Clements twins’ Instagram account—which had already amassed millions of followers as a result of their modeling success—became their father’s lifeline. Initially, the family viewed social media as a way to share the siblings’ modeling journey.

When Kevin, the father of three and head swim coach at a nearby high school, started experiencing what he believed to be a mild cold, the lives of the family took an unexpected turn.

The rare and aggressive cancer known as T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma was discovered to be Kevin’s condition at the age of 39.

The twins were determined to help, so they used social media to try to find a match for their dad’s life-saving bone marrow transplant among their millions of followers.

“His cancer will disappear more quickly if he receives a transplant,” Ava stated to People in 2019.

“People are so sweet to want to help my dad,” Leah continued. It is better if more people are tested.

The twins appealed to thousands of people nationwide to help their father, and while Kevin was able to find a match in his brother Chris, the supporters were added to a nationwide registry to aid other patients.

More than just attractive faces
Now gorgeous 14-year-olds, Ava and Leah still model and interact with their growing fan base. Their rise from local models to global celebrities is a credit to their perseverance, charisma, and their family’s unwavering support.

Leah and Ava have demonstrated that they are more than just attractive faces by juggling their lucrative modeling careers with advocacy, family, and education. They are an inspiration to many, and as they continue to develop, the world eagerly anticipates what these incredible young stars will do next.
