Kat Timpf’s delights fans with ‘funniest joke of all time’ while Johnny Joey Jones can’t stop laughing

Kat Timpf is more than just a cancer survivor. Despite it, she’s laughing. Her fans are now as well.

Kat Timpf is making headlines again just a few weeks after she returned to Gutfeld! with heartfelt video from her hospital bed. This time, it was a well-timed joke that transformed a serious subject into a moment of dark, defiant humor.

Double Trouble on Live Television

Johnny Joey Jones, a former Marine and Fox contributor who lost both legs while serving in Afghanistan, joined Gutfeld! with the 36-year-old Fox News personality. Jones made a joke about Timpf stealing his thunder during the segment:

“I’m going to lose my sympathy when she turns out to have cancer.”

Timpf quickly responded with what she now refers to as her “funniest joke ever of all time.”

Yes, indeed! She added, “Now you’re not the only double amputee on the show.” The gesture was a direct and audacious reference to her double mastectomy.

Kat swiftly shared the moment on social media, captioning the video with the following:

“I think this is the funniest joke I’ve ever told.”

The moment was deemed “freaking hysterical” by fans, who also praised Timpf and Jones for their unapologetically honest and resilient shared response.

Laughter in the Most Tough Times

Timpf has previously turned to humor to help him navigate the chaos. She joked that she wasn’t going to “risk her life for some 32As” when she first disclosed her cancer diagnosis.

She was honest even after the surgery. She shared a censored photo of her gown-clad legs from her hospital bed with the following caption:

“After-op! To be honest, they haven’t decreased much since I became pregnant.

Fans, including those dealing with their own illnesses, have responded favorably to her ability to find humor in heartbreak. An X user wrote:

I can’t express how much this made me laugh as a fellow double amputee. I also found that humor helped me get through my cancer journey.

A Path That Is Not Yet Completed

Just one day before giving birth to her first child, Timpf received a diagnosis of stage-zero breast cancer. After undergoing a double mastectomy in March, she made her comeback to Fox News in mid-June, declaring she was officially free of breast cancer.

She hasn’t publicly revealed the name of her child, but she has stated that the young boy is healthy and that comedy, cancer, and motherhood are now all part of her story.

Kat, still unfiltered

Kat Timpf is demonstrating that you can face the most difficult situations with poise, bravery, and a razor-sharp wit, whether it’s through heartfelt video diaries or sardonic remarks about her surgery.

And this is how one fan best put it:

“God bless them both for having such wonderful dispositions. An inspiration!
