Lilibet Diana’s Birth Certificate Has An Unexpected Detail On It

While still Royal, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had their firstborn, Archie Harrison, in 2019. They had Lilibet Diana in June 2021 after giving up their royal titles and moving to California.

Prince Harry signed Lilibet Diana’s birth certificate as “The Duke of Sussex” and “His Royal Highness,” while Meghan signed as “Rachel Meghan Markle,” omitting her royal title. In contrast, Archie’s birth certificate featured significant parental titles.

Lilibet’s second name, Diana, honors Prince Harry’s mother and her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, known as Lilibet.

After Prince Charles’ succession, Lilibet and Archie became UK royalty in September 2022. Harry and Meghan stressed that their children might choose royal roles.

The couple agreed not to use their “HRH” titles after stepping down from royal duties, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace. Lilibet Diana had an opportunity to meet Queen Elizabeth at the Diamond Jubilee Celebration in June 2022.

Lilibet appeared in a Netflix documentary on Meghan and Harry, showcasing their commitment to a distinct upbringing. Meghan wanted a big family because of her childhood.
