Soap Opera Actor has passed away. He was 75.

Born on April 27, 1949, in Santa Monica, California, Sheehan began his acting career in theater before transitioning to television. His big break came in 1979 when he joined “General Hospital” as Joe Kelly, quickly becoming a fan favorite with his dramatic romances and thrilling mysteries. His performance boosted the show’s ratings and left a lasting impact on soap opera fans.

Sheehan’s talent shone further in “Knots Landing,” where he played journalist Ben Gibson, romantically involved with Valene Ewing. Their on-screen chemistry became one of the show’s most beloved storylines, and he portrayed Ben until 1987.

Even after these iconic roles, Sheehan continued to shine in television. In 1988, he starred in the NBC sitcom “Day by Day” as Brian Harper. He also made guest appearances in popular shows like “Murder, She Wrote,” “Clueless,” and “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.”
