Trump Suggests Former VP Harris Broke Campaign Finance Laws

Former Vice President Kamala Harris may have engaged in illegal activity, according to President Donald Trump, because of a number of questionable financial decisions she made during her 2024 presidential campaign.

Trump said he was “looking at the huge sum of money” that Democrats owed after the 2024 election in a post on Truth Social. Despite raising record-breaking amounts of money for such a short campaign, the Harris campaign and its affiliated Democratic organizations ended the race with debts totaling tens of millions of dollars.

Trump also cited a widely publicized incident in which Beyoncé was supposed to perform at a rally in Houston but ultimately failed to show up, highlighting the Harris campaign’s tactic of hiring celebrities for pre-rally concerts to create the appearance of enthusiasm. When it became clear that she would not be performing, large crowds of purported “Harris supporters” were seen leaving the venue.

After the presidential election, the president said on Truth Social, “I’m looking at the huge sum of money that the Democrats owed and the admission that they probably paid, illegally, eleven million dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang a single note and left the stage to a booing and irate audience!), three million dollars for ‘expenses.'”

He also brought up comparable instances involving Al Sharpton and Oprah Winfrey, who both received sizeable sums of money for what Trump called “absolutely nothing!” “The financial statements contained inaccurate information about these outrageous fees,” he continued. PAYING FOR AN ENDORSEMENT IS NOT ALLOWED. DOING SO IS ABSOLUTELY ILLEGAL. If politicians started paying people for endorsements, can you imagine the mayhem that would result? Hell would erupt!

“Kamala, along with all those who received Endorsement funds, VIOLATED THE LAW,” he wrote at the end of his post. They should face legal action!

In less than 80 days, from July 21, 2024, when she was announced as the Democratic nominee, until early October, Harris raised more than $1 billion for her 2024 presidential campaign. This sum included $310 million in July, $361 million in August, $378 million in September, and $81 million in the first 24 hours following the departure of then-President Joe Biden.
