Loren Allred Blow AGT All Stars Away With Incredible Greatest Showman Performance

During a recent early release for America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League, vocalist Loren Allred captivated the audience with a powerful display of her musical capabilities. Viewers were stunned to learn that she was the actual voice behind the hit song “Never Enough” from the film The Greatest Showman, as she took to the stage to demonstrate her live vocal prowess. Her performance of the platinum-selling track was a breathtaking, fresh rendition that left the room in absolute awe, proving that her talent extends far beyond the studio recordings that made her famous. This performance served as a definitive moment for the singer, who has spent years establishing her identity as a solo artist.

This appearance follows her previous journey on Britain’s Got Talent, where she first gained the necessary confidence to reveal herself to the world as the singer behind the iconic movie song. During that competition, the Brooklyn-born singer shared that she provided the singing voice for the character Jenny Lind, portrayed by actress Rebecca Ferguson in the 2017 box office success. Her decision to step out from behind the scenes and into the spotlight was met with immediate applause from the judges. Her incredible performance on that stage ultimately secured her a place in the semi-finals, thanks to judge Amanda Holden, who chose to press the Golden Buzzer, cementing her presence in the public eye.

The song “Never Enough” was composed by Broadway songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul as part of the soundtrack for The Greatest Showman, which also featured popular tracks like “A Million Dreams” and “This Is Me.” While actress Rebecca Ferguson appeared on screen as the character, she personally felt that Allred’s vocal performance was superior to her own, leading to the decision to dub the song with Allred’s voice. The soundtrack itself achieved massive international success, reaching the top of the charts in countries including the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland, and Australia. Furthermore, the track was ranked number three by Entertainment Weekly as one of the best songs from movies of the 2010s, highlighting the lasting impact of Allred’s contribution.
