Less than one year since shock divorce, Sofia Vergara 'thinking marriage' with new men

When Sofia Vergara tattooed Joe Manganiello’s initial on her wrist, she likely believed their marriage would last forever, much like the ink. However, after their relationship ended last year, the tattoo featuring the letter “J” has found a new purpose, symbolizing her connection with her new love, Justin Saliman.

Now, at 51, sources reveal that Sofia is in a serious relationship and “talking marriage.” According to insiders, she never expected to meet someone so perfectly suited for her, but with Saliman, she’s hoping to find lasting happiness.

In July 2023, fans were shocked when Sofia and Joe announced the end of their seven-year marriage. In a joint statement, the couple expressed their love and care for one another while asking for privacy as they navigated their new lives apart.

Just two months after the separation, Manganiello was linked to actor Caitlin O’Connor, whom he reportedly met at an HBO show party. A source shared that their first encounter took place in a hot tub, and by September 2023, the two were casually seeing each other. By March 2024, their relationship had evolved, and rumors surfaced that they were planning to get engaged and start a family.

Meanwhile, Sofia opened up about her reasons for not wanting more children, which she said contributed to the end of her second marriage. She explained that her decision stemmed from not wanting to become an “old mom,” as she already shares a 32-year-old son, Manolo, with her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez. While she respects those who choose to have children later in life, Sofia made it clear that it wasn’t the right path for her.

In October 2023, Sofia began dating renowned orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, who was previously married to actor Bree Turner. While promoting her Netflix series Griselda in early 2024, Sofia spoke about her desire to find a life partner. She playfully corrected herself, saying she didn’t need a husband but wanted one, or at least a committed partner.

Sources now say that Sofia is “talking marriage” with Saliman, who is 49 years old. They describe him as someone who ticks all the right boxes—he’s handsome, independent, smart, makes her feel safe, and isn’t an actor. It’s no surprise why Sofia is thinking about tying the knot again. An amusing detail is that Saliman’s first name starts with the letter “J,” just like her ex-husband Joe, which matches the tattoo Sofia still has on her wrist. Vergara has joked about this coincidence, saying she’s lucky that her new partner shares the same initial, even calling it a form of “recycling.”

If Sofia does marry Justin, he will be the third “J” in her life. What are your thoughts on Sofia Vergara potentially marrying again? Feel free to share your opinions and spread the conversation!
