Climate Scientist Warns ‘The Worst Is Yet To Come’ As Winds Gain Speed Causing Aircrafts to Ground and Buildings Continuing to Burn in Palisades Fire

Following the recent devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, climate scientists cautioned that the worst is still to come.

According to sources, high winds are enabling the wildfires to spread and cause havoc throughout Los Angeles County.

Firefighters fought tirelessly to contain the flames, destroying an estimated 1000 structures along the way, according to reports from Radar Online.

Unfortunately, severe winds also forced the suspension of various rescue and relief operations, and the situation is only getting worse due to the scarcity of water supplies.

Following reports of two fatalities, thousands of people were evacuated, and thousands more were being moved to safer areas, prompting the governor of California to declare an emergency.

At 8 am, aircraft operations were also halted due to wind gusts of 80 to 100 mph that were observed in certain locations.

More information on this front was also provided by Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department, who mentioned how officials were actively keeping a close eye on the situation.

That would decide whether and when air travel would be safe enough to be exempted from the temporary ban.
