Gary Sinise is sad about the death of his son, McCanna Anthony “Mac” Sinise. Mac died on January 5, 2024, at the age of 33, after a six-year battle with Chordoma, a rare form of spinal cancer.
Even though he was sick, Mac followed his dream of making music and finished his album Resurrection & Revival while he was in the hospital in 2023. His hard work and creativity left a lasting impression.
Gary paid tribute to him deeply: “On January 5, with his family by his side, he let go.” He was at peace now that the battle was over. Sinise was proud of his son and felt sorry for other families who were going through the same thing.Mac’s strength and music continue to move people.
