Al Roker, the beloved Today show host at 68, bids a bittersweet farewell to his cherished “happy place” in Puerto Rico. His vacation with wife Deborah Roberts and son Nick at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, comes to an end, leaving him visibly sad.
Deborah joins in, posting a magical moment from the vacation.
The trip holds added significance as it follows Al’s recovery from blood clots. His recent knee replacement surgery, though challenging, doesn’t deter his passion for meteorology, and he has no plans to retire.
We extend our best wishes for a swift recovery and look forward to his return to TV screens.
