10 Real Stories of Kindness That Pour Honey on People’s Souls

Since kindness can unite people and produce positive results, it is extremely important. Even small deeds of kindness have the power to start a domino effect that makes people more understanding and compassionate. And this assertion is supported by a wealth of evidence.

First Story: I am employed at a flower stand. This guy arrives, purchases a rose, and gives it to me silently for the fifth time in a row. I initially assumed he was simply shy. He returned today as planned, and I was at my breaking point. “All right, let’s finally get to know each other,” I blurted out. He then took a piece of paper out of his pocket and wrote that he just likes to see me smile, even though he is deaf and mute.

Story 2: I started a new job and relocated to a new city when I was 17. But I didn’t know how to cook, and I hadn’t properly budgeted my money. Let’s just say it didn’t work out well when I attempted to make something delicious one day using only rice and tomato paste.
Three days after noticing that I wasn’t eating lunch, a coworker complained that his wife had given him too many sandwiches. In order to prevent it from being wasted, he offered me one. I must have eaten it so fast that his wife continued to bring him “extra” sandwiches every day for the next few days. © Quora/Bill Castello

Story 3: I chose to go mushroom picking on one of my days off. I spent roughly three hours walking through the forest, singing to myself and taking leisurely walks while raking leaves with a stick. I turned to see a dog strapped to a tree when I heard barking suddenly from a distance. With sunken sides and irate eyes, it was obvious that the poor creature had been neglected for some time. I wanted to help the dog, so even though I was first apprehensive, I cautiously approached.
The dog lunged at me as I approached, but I was able to calm it down by sitting close by and talking quietly to it for about 30 minutes, assuring it that I was harmless. I cut the rope because, surprisingly, the dog seemed to understand. With a grateful tail wag, it strode into the forest, once again free.

Narrative 4:

Story 5: A stone with a note flew through the open window while my wife and I were in the kitchen enjoying tea. We were shocked to learn that it was a ring-accompanied declaration of love! After a moment of shock, we understood it was intended for the house next door. We gave the bewildered young boy the ring, invited him over, and gave him tips on how to pop the question. Six months later, we happily celebrated the love story that began with a mistaken stone by attending our neighbor’s wedding.

Story 6: I went to a local restaurant, bought some dumplings, and sat by the window, staring at the rain like some dramatic middle schooler. It was a gloomy day, though I’ve already forgotten why. The store owner stops by, brings me a drink, and offers me some more free dumplings. It may not seem like much, but it brightened my day. Naturally, I thanked him, but he responded, “Naw naw, my job.” © Reddit/Unknown author

Story 7: I’ve had difficult financial times as a student who works part-time as a waitress. They left me a big tip one day when I was serving two men at work. With the sincere remark, “Just like that!” one of them gave me the cash. I can see what you require!
It was a sincere act of kindness rather than a hint or a persistent nagging. Their generosity brought me to tears when I counted the tip. They were already out of the restaurant when I wanted to thank them.

Story 8: I saw a heartwarming scene while I was on the bus. A little boy, about five years old, sat across from an old woman who was eating her candy. I asked the woman for a piece of mint candy because I couldn’t help but feel warm at the time. She generously gave it to me, and as the boy got the candy and went back to his seat, he leaped to his feet, sprinted back to the woman, and kissed her on the cheek.
Everyone on the bus was grinning, and the woman herself was clearly moved. These kinds of incidents serve as a reminder that, despite unfavorable opinions about younger generations, people can still be good and kind.

Narrative 9:

Story 10: A friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday present. I mentioned that her presence was more important than any gift, while also subtly hinting at a new bag. She came to my birthday party dressed as a gift herself, in keeping with her playful personality! She joked that she was my primary gift.
We all chuckled and appreciated her inventiveness. She clearly understands me because she later surprised me with the bag I had mentioned. She reads me like a book, which is why she’s my best friend.
