New details have emerged regarding the tragic death of actor Jansen Panettiere, aged 28. Friends found him lifeless at his New York residence after he missed a business meeting. One friend, upon entering his home, discovered Jansen “sitting in a chair, unresponsive,” and called 911 while performing CPR.

Jansen’s father, Skip Panettiere, confirmed he had spoken to his son the night before, and Jansen had sounded “good.” However, the cause of death remains unknown.

Jansen, the younger brother of actress Hayden Panettiere, was a former performer who had transitioned away from Hollywood. He showed an interest in abstract art and clothing design on his social media accounts.

Hayden Panettiere has been open about her struggles with addiction and her child’s custody, which she handed over to her ex-husband. She believes it was the best decision for her child’s safety and her own well-being.
