Watch Pink stun the Tony Awards as host with a spectacular Chicago tribute performance of All That Jazz
P!nk took on hosting duties at the 79th Annual Tony Awards in June 2026, shifting from pop hits to one of theater’s major ceremonies. Her connection to New York had deepened earlier in the year, when she moved her family to the city in support of her daughter Willow’s ambition to become a Broadway star.
Her first number was “Leading Lady Marmalade,” which recast “Lady Marmalade” as a comic Broadway piece. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul created the song with Mark Sonnenblick. The opening welcomed P!nk into her new theater community while establishing the tone for her night as host.
The ceremony also commemorated three decades since Chicago returned to Broadway in 1996. Identified as Broadway history’s longest-running American musical, the production received a medley of its best-known songs. P!nk led the final section by stepping into the part of Velma Kelly for “All That Jazz.”
Wearing a glamorous pink costume with a traditional black bowler hat, she performed with Broadway backup dancers. The routine incorporated the recognizable, slick choreography associated with Bob Fosse, and the demanding performance displayed P!nk’s transformation into a musical-theater lead.
