On a rare and glitzy night out in New York City, Jill Biden wowed onlookers by going to the Broadway production of Othello with her husband, former President Joe Biden.
The couple received praise for their elegant and well-groomed appearance when they made a dramatic entrance at the Barrymore Theatre in Midtown Manhattan.
The former first lady attracted attention with a glistening teal blue gown that became the evening’s talk of the town.
After she posted a photo from the evening to Instagram with the simple caption, “Date night!” the bold and sophisticated ensemble swept social media. The post was immediately showered with compliments from fans, who praised the couple’s timeless charm as well as her sense of style.
In a traditional black tuxedo, Joe Biden, 82, looked like a true statesman and matched his wife’s glitzy outfit as they arrived at the function.
One of their most well-publicized date nights since leaving the White House, their appearance provided insight into their ongoing support of culture and the arts.
Jill’s appearance was immediately praised by attendees and fans on the internet. One admirer wrote, “They look incredible and Jill is killing it in this dress! What a beautiful shade of blue!

The Bidens joined the cast backstage after the show, where they posed for pictures and shared happy moments with Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington, the lead actors.
